Here i will share some network protocols.

Peer to Peer Tunneling Protocol (PPTP):

Older dialup protocol, adds client on virtual node and has weak encryption. It is not recommended.

Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) :

a network protocol for encapsulating PPP frames inside Ethernet frames. It appeared in 1999, in the context of the boom of DSL as the solution for tunneling packets over the DSL connection to the ISP’s IP network, and from there to the rest of the Internet.

Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol:

In computer networking, Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) is a tunneling protocol used to support virtual private networks (VPNs) or as part of the delivery of services by ISPs.

It does not provide any encryption or confidentiality by itself. Rather, it relies on an encryption protocol that it passes within the tunnel to provide privacy.Carries layer 2 traffic and has no encryption by itself but utilizes IPsec, RADIUS and TACAS +.
